LHH is working with a growing company in the Tacoma, WA area that is in need of a Payroll Specialist for their team right away. This position will be a contract role but there is potential for it to turn into permanent employment for the right candidate. The manager is looking for someone who has processed multistate payroll and who has experience on ADP payroll platforms. You will be the main payroll processor, but the HR department will handle the benefits administration. This opportunity offers a quick interview process so apply now!
Responsibilities
Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees using ADP payroll systems. Review and verify timesheets, wage calculations, and deductions. Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax issues. Prepare payroll reports for management and finance teams. Coordinate with HR and Finance departments regarding payroll changes and benefit deductions. Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution. Qualifications
At least two years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar payroll role. Previous experience with ADP payroll systems. Solid understanding of payroll principles, processes, and compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Strong communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Pay Details:
$30.00 to $33.00 per hour
