Employment Litigation Associate - Irvine, CA
Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with 4-7 years of experience to join their Irvine office. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled litigator with experience handling wage and hour class/collective actions and PAGA cases to join a dynamic and highly regarded employment law practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage wage and hour litigation matters, including class actions, collective actions, and PAGA cases Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings Draft and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment and class certification Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts Provide strategic advice and counsel on employment litigation matters Work independently and collaboratively to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school 4-7 years of employment litigation experience, with a strong focus on wage and hour class/collective actions and PAGA cases Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Self-starter who thrives in both independent and team-oriented environments Admitted to the California Bar (required) Candidates with strong litigation backgrounds in other practice areas and a demonstrated interest in employment law are encouraged to apply Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $220,000 - $260,000 (based on experience, skills, and internal equity) Relocation assistance is available Comprehensive benefits package, including:
