- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes for underframe fabrication.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze workflow, layout, and production data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and quality control plans.
- Support welding operations, including process selection, tooling, and inspection criteria.
- Troubleshoot fabrication issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in metal fabrication or structural components.
- Familiarity with welding processes (MIG, TIG, etc.) and standards.
