Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $3,220 per week in Minneapolis, MN

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: 1-2 years of cath lab experience scrubbing and monitoring; first-timers accepted with a minimum of 2 years of experience. License: Valid state license preferred. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required. Must-Have: Accurate monitoring skills. Experience in diagnostic cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. Ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias. Description: The Cath Lab Tech will work in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The position entails working four 10-hour shifts per week. On-call duty is required approximately every 4th to 5th weekend. The candidate must be able to float as needed within the facility. Key responsibilities include performing EKG lead placement and prepping access sites. The candidate will scrub procedures and maintain a sterile field. Experience with cardiac stent placement, left heart catheterization, and IABP placement/removal is required. The Cath Lab Tech will need to demonstrate proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Candidates should have experience with vascular closure systems and temporary pacemaker management. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
