Assistant/Associate/Full Tenure-Track Professor of Management, Daniels College of Business The University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business invites applications for an Open Rank Professor of Management (tenure‑track). The position is a full‑time faculty appointment in the Management Department, which offers undergraduate, graduate, MBA, PhD, and executive programs.

Position Summary The Open Rank Professor will be responsible for high‑quality research, teaching, and service. Candidates should have a strong record of scholarship, a clear research agenda in the digital economy (or related fields), and a commitment to inclusive teaching and service to the department and college.

Essential Functions

Teaching:

Expected to teach six courses per academic year (undergraduate and graduate) using traditional, hybrid, or online delivery, including possible summer instruction. Faculty receives two research course releases in the first two years.

Research:

Expected to maintain a publication record in high‑ranking journals (e.g., FT 50, A* AIDC, ASU 4+). AACSB scholarly qualifications must be maintained.

Service:

Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development, assurance of learning, and scholarly activities within the department and college.

Required Qualifications

Doctorate in management or a closely related field from an AACSB or EQUIS‑accredited institution; ABD considered until completion by March 31 of the first employment year.

Evidence of strong teaching, research, and service potential.

Experience engaging diverse student populations and inclusive teaching practices.

Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Publications in FT Top 50 or equivalent high‑ranking journals.

Research and teaching interests in the digital economy, innovation, or related emerging topics.

Demonstrated experience with varied teaching methods and curricular design.

Experience engaging students with diverse learning styles.

Salary & Benefits Salary range:

$170,000 – $200,000

(per the UC salary grade framework). Benefits include medical, dental, retirement, paid time off, tuition assistance, and an employee discount pass.
