School Psychologist – Warwick, RI
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide coverage for a 6‑week leave of absence at a high school in Warwick, Rhode Island. This short‑term opportunity offers flexibility, strong team support, and the potential for extension.
Position Details
Schedule: Minimum of 3 days per week
Hours: 7:00 AM – 2:05 PM (flexibility available)
Dates: November 25, 2025 – early January 2026 (possibility of extension)
Setting: High School (Grades 9‑12)
Caseload: ~20 students receiving direct counseling services, evaluations, and participation in meetings
Onsite Only: In‑person preferred; virtual participation for meetings if needed
Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations
Provide individual and group counseling for students with social, emotional, or behavioral needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and intervention planning
Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
Rhode Island School Psychologist license or certification
Experience with high school‑aged students preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly pay (W2) ranging from $40.83 to $60.83 per hour
