Software Quality Engineer (Associate or Experienced) Join the Software Quality team located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position focuses on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization, ensuring first‑time quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain program‑level software quality engineering processes, resources, and infrastructure.

Use established criteria to review, comment on, and recommend approval of software lifecycle documents and program products.

Conduct audits of software engineering processes and associated support functions.

Assist with configuration management activities such as software product release and change control boards.

Assist in review of deviations and waivers to the software baseline.

Improve products and processes and manage risk.

Monitor or witness test activity to established test plans and procedures.

Assist with verification of test results to performance requirements.

Perform final reconciliation of simple software data products.

Verify acceptability of supplier software quality systems and programs.

Identify non‑conformances and issue corrective actions.

Review and approve corrective and preventive action plans.

Verify effectiveness of corrective and preventive action plans.

Work under general supervision.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or related technical degree.

2+ years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (Requirements, Design, Code, Integration & Test).

1+ year of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Experience using Agile software development practices.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of related experience or equivalent education.

4+ years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle.

3+ years of software quality engineering experience, including knowledge of MIL‑STD‑882E, DO‑178 and/or AS9115.

Experience with DevSecOps and associated tools.

Benefits & Compensation Competitive base pay and variable compensation, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, and more. Pay ranges: $78,200 – $105,800 (Associate) and $83,300 – $112,700 (Experienced).
