Monday through Friday, 8-5, but can be slightly flexible with the exact hours.
Job Description Provide 2nd level technical expertise in PLC controls-based troubleshooting, Controls hardware, and wiring specifically in support of new production line installation. Follow the direction from a Sr Controls Engineer. Enhance manufacturing capabilities through the implementation of new ideas and methods. Independently execute project objectives to fulfill overall project goals and milestones.
Education required
Desired AAS or Higher. 3 additional years of experience can be considered instead of formal education (for a total of 10).
4+ Years working with PLCs-Allen Bradley, Rockwell preferred HMIs, drives, and safety systems and structured programming, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
PLC: 4 years
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, drives, and safety systems and structured programming
Knowledge of controls systems design, hardware, and troubleshooting
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Strong written & oral communications skills
Actively participate in all phases of projects including design, fabrication, off-line integration and testing, installation, production start-up support, training of plant personnel and technology transfer.
The individual must be capable of executing project assignments in a team-based environment with minimal supervision
