Job Summary
Per Diem Infectious Disease Physician – Travel Medicine Clinic (Newton‑Wellesley Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham). This per diem role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to provide consultative care in a collegial, patient‑centered environment. The position is based at 2000 Washington Street, Newton, MA.
Responsibilities
See new travel medicine consultations in 4‑hour sessions (may combine two 4‑hour sessions for a full day).
Devote approximately 30 minutes to each patient for evaluation, counseling, and vaccination orders.
Provide patients with written after‑visit summaries detailing recommendations and instructions.
Answer patient messages via Patient Gateway, clarifying recommendations and instructions.
Participate in delivering evidence‑based, quality care in line with NWH and MGB policies.
Collaborate professionally and collegially with multidisciplinary team members.
Qualifications
Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Infectious Disease.
Per diem availability and flexibility to work travel medicine sessions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
