The Diabetes Sales Team leads the US sales efforts for Novo Nordisk’s cardiometabolic product portfolio, which includes therapies for diabetes, obesity, and reducing adverse cardiovascular events. You will have frontline exposure to our portfolio vision, business strategies, and critical market insights that drive our business forward. You will drive the NNI portfolio strategy in tandem with our marketing team, balancing performance with compassion to ensure that the latest therapies reach the people who need them most. The Position

An influential and inclusive Leader of the National Sales Organization, with regional responsibilities to effectively grow and develop the people and the business while consistently driving performance and outcomes. Relationships

Reports to a VP, Area Commercial Lead. Leads and manages a Regional Business Unit with direct supervisory responsibility for Diabetes and Obesity District Business Managers and Educator Managers. Indirectly manages Diabetes and Obesity Care Specialists and Diabetes and Obesity Educators. Partners with Market Access, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Medical and other stakeholders. Other relationships include key physicians, key thought leaders, key institutions, targeted health system customers, field and home office personnel. Essential Functions

Functional Skills: Develops and executes a comprehensive regional business plan; monitors progress; drives regional goals and results; maintains an account mindset and brand alignment in local plans. Coaching and Relationships: Proactively coaches for development; builds relationships with KOLs, advocacy groups, and others to influence diabetes and obesity treatment practices. Operations and Programs: Oversees planning and execution of promotional programs; ensures alignment with Sales, Education, Market Access, Medical, and home office partners; manages speakers bureau inputs; participates in national/regional planning teams. Knowledge: Maintains market knowledge, leverages analytics to model trends, and informs decisions; understands financial planning cycles and budgets. Policies: Manages application and communication of NN policies; monitors adherence to company policies including regulatory requirements. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or PharmD required; advanced degree preferred. A minimum of eight (8) years in progressive pharmaceutical/healthcare sales experience; two (2) years of people management preferred (four (4) years preferred). Diabetes and/or Obesity sales experience preferred. Experience leading large or multi-disciplinary teams (>30 people) and cross-functional collaboration (sales, educators, account management, commercial execution). Strategic planning experience with cross-functional leverage; familiarity with Market Access, Marketing, Learning & Development, and related areas. Experience on strategic task forces or projects (global or national preferred). Strong sales track record and leadership capabilities. Note:
