Charles Taylor is seeking a Safety Manager in Alexandria, VA.
1099 Contract position without per-diem.
Project Details
40 hours/week. M-F
6-8 months
Working on-site with our client overseeing electrical work for a large commercial construction project.
BCSP certifications strongly preferred. OSHA-510 and NFPA 70E strongly preferred.
OSHA-30 in construction, CPR/first Aid certification required.
5-7 years recent on-site Safety Management experience overseeing large commercial construction projects. Experience overseeing electrical work preferred.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Conducting project safety inspections and orientations.
Providing safety training as requested/required.
Observing and monitoring worksite employees and safety practices.
Completing document reviews, contractor correspondence, and document management.
Other tasks within the realm of the EHS profession based on manager’s skills, abilities, certifications, and authorizations.
Communicating safety standards between trades, GC, and subcontractors.
