Worldwide Specialist Solutions Architect - Streaming, Data & AI GTM
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA). As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who face complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. They craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges. This may involve guiding customers as they refactor applications or designing entirely new cloud-based systems.
Key Responsibilities
Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain‑aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
Act as a thought leader, sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public‑speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc.
Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best‑in‑class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
3+ years of specific technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries.
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.

Compensation The base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market.
