Job Summary The Assistant Store Manager PT will drive sales, control expenses, and supervise associates, contributing to the company’s objectives and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
Responsibilities
Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics.
Document and provide consistent appraisal of associate sales performance, giving feedback on strengths and opportunities.
Adhere to visual merchandising guidelines, including proper signage and store cleanliness.
Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy.
Protect company assets and support proper inventory management, price changes, and product counts.
Assist in preparing store schedules and controlling store coverage.
Manage opening and closing procedures following Operations P&P Manual.
Recruit, train, and supervise store personnel, encouraging compliance with company policies.
Communicate with employees at all levels and perform supervisory duties as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of related experience.
Proven ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Computer proficiency and ability to operate relevant software.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work with overhead tasks.
Standing required for 100% of the work time.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Preferred Compensation Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation varies by location. Assistant Store Mangers PT also receive monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount.
