What You will Do
Analyzing radar system performance data with respect to requirements.
Identifying performance deficiencies and proposing solutions.
Defining and prototyping new algorithms to enhance system performance.
Presenting plans, designs and system performance to peers, internal leadership and external customers.
Providing subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and minimum of 5 years prior engineering experience or equivalent.
Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.
Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues.
Experience working with Matlab, C/C++, Java or DOORS.
Qualifications We Prefer
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in field of engineering or related technical discipline.
Experience with Battle Management command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (BMC4I) systems, Radar Systems or signal processing techniques.
Experience with developing, documenting and maintaining processes, methods and tools.
Strong analytic, technical and problem‑solving skills.
Experience with MS Office Suite.
Experience with system level requirements development, documentation and maintenance and/or requirements development and design of system level software architecture.
Experience with radar system concepts; detection, track and signal processing algorithms and their behaviors and performance.
Experience with the development and coding of system models, algorithms, test vectors and analysis tools to support analyzing radar requirements and performance.
Experience and interest in Information Assurance/Cyber Engineering requirements, determination, development and implementation.
Experience in using AI/ML and signal processing for database and algorithm design and enhancement.
Previous military service.
Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user needs.
Analytic, technical and problem‑solving skills.
Active DoD Secret Clearance or greater.
Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related discipline.
