About the Role
Step into a pivotal role as Controls Engineer at CREMER NORTH AMERICA and shape the future of automation. Reporting to the
Maintenance & Reliability Manager , you'll be the driving force behind innovative control systems, overseeing the design, programming, and optimization of advanced technologies across our site. Lead transformative engineering upgrades, collaborate with dynamic teams, and empower colleagues through training in new tools and processes.
Location Location:
Cincinnati, OH – Onsite, Time-based Flexible Schedule
Role Key Responsibilities
Design and optimize PLC logic to enhance processes, ensuring systems comply with operational and safety standards.
Interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams to inform system design and integration.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and data analysis to resolve complex control system issues.
Troubleshoot and analyze critical control issues across multiple manufacturing systems.
Define process and control specifications, aligning project requirements with operational objectives.
Lead root cause investigations for persistent problems and implement permanent solutions.
Provide technical leadership for site-wide control and automation projects, and support downtime events requiring advanced controls expertise.
Role Key Requirements
Bachelor’s (B.S.) degree in Electronics Technology, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field (or a combination of education and experience).
5+ years of experience as a manufacturing or system integrator having worked with Wonderware System Platform & Rockwell Suite of Software: Studio 5000 / RS Logix 5000, FactoryTalk.
5+ years of experience designing, programming, and troubleshooting PLCs, preferably Allen‑Bradley systems.
