Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Maintenance and Reliability teams.

Location Cincinnati, Ohio
What’s the Job?
Design, program, troubleshoot, and maintain site-wide control systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
Lead engineering changes, equipment upgrades, and cross‑departmental initiatives to support manufacturing processes.
Assist with the implementation of new tools and processes, providing training to team members.
Interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams to guide system design and integration.
Support system troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for complex control issues across multiple manufacturing systems.
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Technology, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, programming, and troubleshooting PLCs, preferably Allen‑Bradley systems.
Proficiency with Rockwell Suite of Software: Studio 5000 / RS Logix 5000, Factory Talk, Wonderware System Platform.
Experience with industrial networking systems such as EtherNet/IP.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
