We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Electronics Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing car alarm systems, stereos, amplifiers, speakers, and custom lighting solutions. This role requires strong electrical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver clean, professional installations that meet customer expectations and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install and configure car alarm systems, remote starters, and GPS/security devices.
Perform installations of stereos, amplifiers, subwoofers, and Bluetooth integration systems.
Wire and install LED lighting, fog lights, and custom vehicle lighting solutions.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer manuals.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in aftermarket installations.
Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory for installation projects.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
Provide excellent customer service, including product demonstrations and support.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Car Alarm, Stereo, or Automotive Lighting Installer (required).
Knowledge of 12-volt automotive electrical systems.
Ability to use diagnostic tools, soldering equipment, and hand/power tools.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
MECP Certification (Mobile Electronics Certified Professional) a plus.
OSHA Safety Training a plus.
Valid driver’s license required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
