Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable

HVAC Service Technician

to maintain, diagnose and repair residential and/or commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, customer service experience, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation systems

Perform routine maintenance on residential and commercial HVAC equipment

Install new HVAC systems and retrofit existing systems when needed

Test and calibrate HVAC systems for proper functionality

Interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals

Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, options, and system care

Complete work orders, service reports, and maintain accurate records

Comply with all local HVAC codes, safety regulations, and company policies

Maintain tools and inventory in service vehicle

Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours service requests

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

HVAC certification or diploma from technical school (EPA 608 certification required)

2+ years of field experience

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills

Familiarity with HVAC tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces, attics, crawlspaces, or rooftops

Comfortable working in varying weather conditions

Standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders for extended periods
