Job Overview We’re hiring a Reliability & Projects Engineer to help lead our plant, drive equipment reliability, and grow into a future leadership role.
What you will be doing:
Develop reliability strategies for critical food manufacturing equipment (mixers, ovens, fryers, conveyors, packaging lines, etc.).
Implement predictive maintenance programs using CMMS data.
Develop and optimize PMs and predictive maintenance, including vibration monitoring and condition-based maintenance.
Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement permanent fixes.
Create and implement a critical parts strategy to ensure availability while reducing excess inventory costs.
Support new equipment commissioning, integrating reliability into startup plans and training.
Partner with operations and maintenance to continuously improve OEE and reduce variability.
Standardize reliability practices across teams, shifts, and equipment lines.
What you will bring to the team:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
5–8 years of progressive leadership in manufacturing operations. Food manufacturing experience. Spanish fluency but not required.
Key Performance Metrics:
Proven leadership in driving safety initiatives and maintaining compliance standards.
Labor efficiency and cost per pound.
Pounds per man‑hour.
Lost time frequency/severity rate.
QA/USDA holds.
Documented continuous improvement activities.
WIP audit results.
