Leidos' Defense Systems Electronic Manufacturing Facility is looking for a 2nd Shift Electro/Mechanical Assembly Lab Supervisor to lead our technician team at our Electronics Manufacturing Facility. This key role involves overseeing the assembly of electro/mechanical products while ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards, utilizing calibrated tools, maintaining repeatable processes, and performing rigorous testing and inspections. You will manage a team of IPC-620 certified technicians who are crucial to our operations. If you're ready to thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you! Join us in tackling complex security challenges for critical missions. Key Responsibilities Understand and manage assembly requirements for electro/mechanical products. Oversee testing and inspection processes for assemblies. Maintain communication with internal and external customers regarding project updates related to schedule and costs. Utilize MES (Solumina or Aegis) for build tracking effectively. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 2-6 years, or high school diploma/GED with 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Demonstrated experience in team collaboration and leadership. Able to handle multiple tasks and objectives simultaneously. Proficient with assembly tools and techniques, including but not limited to torque drivers and chemical dispense nozzles. Basic understanding of mechanical assembly drawings and electrical schematics required. Basic computer skills for managing documentation, communications via email, and using Excel spreadsheets. Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold (or be eligible to obtain) a Final Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications Current or prior certification in IPC/WHMA-A-620. Proven experience in leading a team.
