Associate Attorney - Banking & Financial Services Litigation Location:
Minnesota (serving clients locally, regionally, and nationally)
Practice Area:
Banking & Financial Services Law
Our firm, a leading
banking and financial services law practice , is seeking a
highly motivated Associate Attorney
to join our
litigation team . The successful candidate will focus on
enforcement of loan documents, foreclosures, evictions, bankruptcies
and
state and federal court litigation .
Responsibilities
Represent financial institutions and lenders in all aspects of litigation.
Handle matters involving:
Enforcement of loan documents
Foreclosure and eviction proceedings
Bankruptcy and creditor rights
Collections and recovery actions
Landlord/tenant disputes
Manage a large, fast-paced, and varied caseload in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts.
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery, and appear at hearings, trials, and mediations.
Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and clients while also handling matters independently.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Admission to practice law in Minnesota (required).
Experience preferred in one or more of the following areas:
Financial institution representation
Loan enforcement and collections
Foreclosure and eviction litigation
Civil, commercial, or bankruptcy litigation
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Candidates with strong academic backgrounds and an interest in financial services law are encouraged to apply, even without prior experience.
