Ohio
Provides program direction and support to the Charter Schools Program Grant on behalf of the Educational Options and Improvement Center of the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
Responsibilities
Assists in coordinating schedules, and organizes complex activities such as stakeholder engagement meetings and work sessions
Coordinates the planning and development of requests for proposals and serves as a point of contact for vendors
Coordinates site visit scheduling and supports the CSP data from CSP grant site visits
Serves as CSP liaison to the Office of Research, Evaluation and Analytics, coordinating collection and analysis of data
Maintain and update CSP website
Coordinates the work of the CSP Steering Committee
Serves on various committees and task forces upon request of the Chief of Educational Options and Improvement, representing agency program areas or as a representative of the Senior Program Officer’s office
Serves at meetings & conferences with state, federal & community agencies
Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with senior and administrative staff with Department staff and constituencies
Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative and able to work closely with the Grants Administrator to ensure efficient and compliant grant management processes.
Knowledge of

Understanding of

for funded programs
Strong
writing and editing skills
for proposals, reports, and correspondence

Education and Experience
4 years of training or 4 years of experience in business administration, management science or public administration
Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 years of training or 2 years of experience in supervisory, administrative & managerial position
Completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 years of training or 2 years of experience in supervisory, administrative & managerial position or staff position involving planning, research & policy/procedure development
1 year of experience as Program Administrator 1, 63122
Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above
