Buddakan , the iconic NYC dining institution in the heart of the Meatpacking District, is seeking a
passionate and driven Executive Sous Chef
to join our dynamic team as we embark on this exciting new chapter.
We're creating a surreal dining experience where the serenity of Asia meets the flamboyance of 16th-century Paris. Ornate chandeliers, gilded details, and otherworldly art set the stage for an immersive culinary journey — soon to include boundary-pushing dishes inspired by Chef Danny’s bold and inventive spirit.
This position offers a comprehensive package including :
A base salary range of $85,000 - $95,000
Quarterly bonus program
Referral bonus programs

Desired candidates will be :
Humble in their approach to learning and professional self-development
Passionate about using Asian ingredients in a unique and exciting way
Energetic and enthusiastic and possess strong communication and organizational skills
Desired candidates will have :
3+ years of kitchen leadership experience in high-volume food focused operations
Motivational leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire, teach, and coach employees
Excellenttime management skills and supervisory skills in a large space
The ability to drive the success of service by supporting expediting and staff shortages
The ability to support restaurant ordering, inventory, and cost control
