The raw bar & grill is the newest project from Sunday Hospitality (Rule of Thirds, Sunday In Brooklyn, Cafe Chelsea, Hotel Chelsea Lobby Bar, El Quijote, Bedford Post Inn), opening in March 2025.
We are currently hiring for all positions in FOH and BOH, with positions starting in March.

Dynamo Room is hiring an Executive Sous Chef We are looking for experienced hospitality professionals to join our team. We are currently focused on candidates with at least three years of New York City restaurant management or kitchen leadership experience. We are set to open end of March with training starting mid-February. All candidates must be available for training.

About This Role BOH managers actively lead by example, inspire, and teach skills that will elevate the guest experience, their teams, their restaurant, and ultimately Sunday Hospitality as a company.
Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:
Works with the management team to develop and execute strategies to achieve operational goals at the restaurant level
Participates in weekly manager meetings
Ensures consistent execution of food, service, and hospitality that aligns with SHG values
Proactively manages costs in conjunction with the Chef, with an eye on the daily & weekly projections and budgets
Ensures that operational and training standards are consistently followed and executed by the entire restaurant team
What You Bring
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a senior management position overseeing a pastry department
A passion for excellence in hospitality
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
NYC Food Protection Certificate (Food Handler’s) required
Proficiency in a variety of technology systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and POS
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and digitally
Ability to effectively solve and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress
Self-driven, results-oriented, and proactive attitude
A solid track record of leading high-caliber service
Flexible work schedules: the ability to work night, weekends, holidays, as business permits
The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects, up to 50lbs
Kneel, bend, or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; be on feet for extended periods of time

Compensation Details Compensation: Salary based on experience and position
Salary ($85,000.00 - $90,000.00)
