Overview Due to growth, we are adding a Specialist II, Patient Programs to our team! Under the general direction of the Supervisor, Patient Programs, the Specialist II, Patient Programs works with Specialty Pharmacy teams to coordinate, monitor, and audit manufacturer programs and patient management programs. This position aids in sustaining a culture focused on quality patient‑centered care while ensuring optimal pharmacy operations and compliance with manufacturer contracts and patient program guidelines.

Responsibilities

Provide patient outreach via outbound phone calls to new and existing specialty pharmacy patients.

Communicate with doctors’ offices and clinics to provide and gather prescription information.

Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals regarding manufacturer programs, patient management programs, and other specialty pharmacy duties.

Develop written patient/provider communication regarding program management (e.g., patient/provider letters, fax templates).

Consistently adhere to established workflows for program management through internal reporting software (e.g., QlikView, 3D reporting).

Assist in the obtaining and processing of third‑party claim authorizations.

Participate in interdepartmental and intradepartmental meetings regarding manufacturer or patient programs or initiatives.

Act in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and with the highest ethical standards. Legal and ethical compliance is an essential duty of each employee.

Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance and diversity, equity, and inclusion program objectives.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Certified CPhT or ExCPT required, or the ability to obtain within 6 months.

2 years of pharmacy support, healthcare environment, or related experience required.

1 year of experience and demonstration of proficiency in a position at Lumicera or equivalent required.

Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.

The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Compensation & Schedule Pay Range: USD $20.44 – $24.33 per hour.

Work schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
