Shared Services Accounting Manager
Location: Houston, Texas
Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 annually, depending on experience
Join a dynamic manufacturing company as a Shared Services Accounting Manager, where you'll lead the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to optimize processes and implement controls in a fast‑paced environment. The role is open due to growth, and you'll be an integral part of the monthly close process, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Manage and mentor AR and AP teams for high performance
Oversee day‑to‑day AR and AP operations
Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
Collaborate with supply chain and production planning
Evaluate and streamline AR/AP processes for efficiency
Support internal and external audits
Mitigate risks by enforcing credit policies
Serve as point of contact for AR/AP escalations
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
7+ years in AR and AP roles, 3+ years in manufacturing
Proficient in Excel and accounting software
Strong leadership and team‑building skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, PMP)
Experience with ERP Systems
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
