Position Summary The Financial Analyst supports the local management team with financial reporting and control, income management, debt management, accounts payable invoice processing, and accurate client billing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely internal financial reporting and analysis.
Report actual results and analyze variances versus plan.
Assist operations with cost budgets, quarterly forecasts, and other financial planning activities.
Publish periodic financial reports, including accounts payable and freight/consumable metrics, to provide department owners and leadership visibility to financial results.
Conduct analytical reviews of financial information to identify trends/opportunities and recommend improvements to drive cost efficiencies.
Produce cost quotes, strategic business cases, risk assessments, and other ad‑hoc analyses to support the business.
Participate in special projects, including process improvement and financial tools development and implementation.
Manage financial process improvements, KPI tracking, and strategic initiatives.
Support internal and external financial and system audits.
Plan, organize, and manage own workload to ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting.
Ensure swift payment of invoices and accurate billing of charges.
Manage the Accounts Payable process, including vendor invoice tracking and revenue accruals.
Perform month‑end close responsibilities: journal entries, corporate submissions, expense management, and cost center budgeting.
Prepare month‑end journal entries focused on cost accruals.
Complete the monthly Client Profitability Model.
Maintain inventory of office supplies and schedule vendor meetings to ensure competitive pricing.
Attend meetings, document minutes, and distribute communications.
Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally and discreetly.
Create and disseminate various communications and reports.
Assist with design and development of presentations.
Effectively communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, and others on behalf of site management.
Work with Operations to develop budgets and forecasts for financial performance.
Education & Experience
• A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting, FP&A, or finance experience.
Computer Skills
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP).
Certificates & Licenses
• N/A
Language Skills
• English (reading, writing, verbal)
Mathematical Skills
• Strong math skills with focused attention to detail.
Other Skills
• Ability to partner with associates at all levels.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Highly motivated with strong analytical, intellectual curiosity, and proven leadership skills.
