Position Overview Georgia Pines Insurance Agency Jensen Beach location team has supported the surrounding communities of Jensen Beach, Florida, for over twenty years. We seek talented agents who want to join our growing team.
This sales and service position requires 90% Personal Lines and 10% Commercial Lines support. The primary objective is to promote sales of new and existing businesses. The secondary aim is to provide excellent customer service to the client, thereby generating growth for the agency.
Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions
Quote and sell policies/products
Provide excellent customer service, understand client needs, and accurately review and modify policies
Contact potential clients, utilizing existing client cross‑sell lists, contact calls, and optimizing marketing‑generated leads
Collect information from clients on their risk profiles to offer them the proper product solution
Retain continuous awareness of transactions, sales, and terms, and keep activity notations in compliance with agency procedures
Properly document and update all customer information within the database
Mail and document management
Other duties, as requested
Experience and Additional Competencies
Valid 2‑20 Property & Casualty General Lines License
Must be willing to work full‑time
Be proficient in the rules and regulations related to personal lines and commercial lines insurance
Demonstrate skill and experience in all aspects of professionally managing an existing book of business
Rewrite and relationship‑building expertise
Knowledge and use of agency management software and comparative rating software
Ability to market new business to the community
Team player
Willingness and ability to be proactive beyond the reactive demands of the role
"Can do" attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment
