This Position is Time-Limited.
Job Description Responsible to a Chair or other appropriate principal investigator (PI) or administrator of the University of South Florida. Conducts research and/or participates in research for specific projects or programs within a department, college, or interdisciplinary program. May be responsible for teaching when part of a specific program.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with research and extension personnel affiliated with activities involving ophthalmology.
Engage in research activities or outreach activities, such as publishing work and actively disseminating information beyond campus boundaries through informal instruction, presentations at regional/national meetings, and authorship of publications.
Participate in professional/technical societies or groups and in activities of committees within the department, college, campus, and other university entities, as appropriate and with PI supervisory approval.
Qualifications
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution with appropriate experience and training within a selected area of specialization.
Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow.
