Base pay range $135,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Job Overview The Director of Global E-Commerce serves as the primary point of contact and accountable lead for Zwilling Beauty Group’s global e-commerce operations across all brands and markets. This role drives strategy, oversees execution, and ensures seamless collaboration between global marketing, local sales/marketing, IT, vendors, and executive teams. The Director combines strong analytical, technical, and project-management expertise with leadership skills to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performing online platforms.

Duties And Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Planning

Develop and execute the global e-commerce strategy for all Zwilling Beauty Group (ZBG) brands (Tweezerman, Zwilling Beauty) across core markets.

Ensure adoption of best-in-class technologies, tools, and processes across all markets and platforms.

Partner with senior leadership to align global initiatives with business goals and performance targets.

Research emerging digital and e-commerce technologies to inform long-term strategy and innovation.

Program & Project Management

Oversee global website development, launches, optimization, and maintenance, ensuring high functionality, scalability, and user experience.

Lead cross-functional project teams, managing timelines, budgets, scopes, and deliverables to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.

Supervise backend setup, hosting, and ongoing platform operations.

Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies; implement corrective actions and lessons learned.

Lead development of project documentation including project plans, process flows, use cases, and requirements.

Team Leadership

Manage and develop a global team of three (Project Manager, Web Developer, Data Information Specialist) to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.

Provide mentorship, performance feedback, and workload prioritization across projects and regions.

Negotiate project priorities and resource allocation with internal stakeholders.

Technical & Content Oversight

Oversee global content management via the Salsify platform, ensuring accuracy and consistency across brands and markets.

Partner with web agencies and internal developers on optimization, integrations, and technical improvements.

Manage the central media database and provide system training to local markets.

Ensure website compliance with global privacy, data protection, and accessibility regulations.

Support launches of new international websites and ensure alignment with brand identity and marketing strategies.

Communication, Reporting & Compliance

Serve as liaison between global and local marketing, technical, and vendor teams to ensure cohesive execution.

Provide regular progress and performance reports to the Senior VP of Marketing.

Draft and oversee website policies and coordinate legal review with outside counsel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field with IT focus.

Minimum 7 years’ experience managing global e-commerce implementations, including cross-functional and international teams.

Expertise in Shopify, Klaviyo, Salsify, Yotpo, and related digital/e-commerce platforms.

Strong understanding of digital marketing, UI/UX, content development, and web design best practices.

Experience managing website compliance for U.S. and international jurisdictions.

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-market web projects.

Excellent communication skills; able to interface effectively with technical and non-technical teams across regions (U.S., Canada, U.K., Germany, China).

Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented with impeccable follow-up.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use with repetitive finger and wrist movement. Occasional international travel required to core markets.

The expected base salary for this position is estimated. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, budget, and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in our competitive bonus program with the possibility of overachievement based on performance and company results, as well as participation in the company's profit-sharing program.

Hybrid Schedule HYBRID: t days in person, 3 days remote

Mon-Thurs: 8:30am to 5:30pm

Friday: 8:30am to 12:30pm
