As
Sous Chef
of the
Café , you’ll lead a vegetarian-focused, from-scratch kitchen serving over
400 guests daily . This
Monday–Friday
position offers a balanced schedule within a collaborative, wellness-driven environment. You’ll oversee a team of
six culinary associates , focusing on teaching, developing, and inspiring your team while maintaining the highest culinary and sanitation standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead daily culinary operations for a high-volume, plant-forward café concept
Teach, coach, and develop a team of six culinary associates to achieve excellence and consistency
Support the Executive Chef with menu innovation and execution aligned with wellness and sustainability goals
Ensure all dishes are prepared from scratch with attention to quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction
Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and allergen management standards
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls to ensure operational efficiency
Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of three years of leadership experience in a from-scratch kitchen environment
Strong understanding of vegetarian and plant-based cuisine
Proven ability to mentor and develop culinary talent
Commitment to innovation, wellness, and excellence in corporate dining
