American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with a current CA license, BLS, and 2 years of interventional Cath Lab experience. Responsibilities
Work in a hospital-based interventional cardiology department Supports cardiologists, radiologists, and RNs during Cath Lab procedures Adult patient population with a focus on interventional and structural heart cases Day shifts, 4x10 hours per week with start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM Rotating nights and weekend call required Travelers may float to other affiliated hospital locations if census is low Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic experience is preferred Perform technical duties under supervision in interventional Cath Lab procedures Mentor and help train students as assigned Modules completed during orientation via e-learning, averaging 1-5 hours Strong focus on patient assessment, monitoring, and communication Adheres to privacy, safety, and regulatory standards in all patient care Team environment with cardiologists, radiologists, nurses, and techs Locals are accepted at a local rate Requirements
Current CA Radiology license required if applicable BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required Credentialed as RCES, CRT, or RCIS Minimum of 2 years of recent interventional Cath Lab experience Experience with structural heart procedures preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Must submit copies of all certifications prior to consideration Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of accepting the offer Only one holiday RTO will be approved Applicants must meet the 50-mile travel radius requirement Returning travelers must have been gone at least 1 year to be eligible Benefits
