Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Director, Transaction Advisory Services to join their Boston, MA office.
Responsibilities
Manage due diligence engagements on acquisitions by private equity investor groups/corporate buyers
Assess financial/operational results by reviewing accounting records and meeting with management
Prepare and evaluate pro forma financial information
Identify issues for purchase price reductions, deal structuring, or deal termination
Map out post-acquisition action steps to achieve anticipated earnings/cash flow improvements
Evaluate and document the effects of seasonality and cyclicality on cash flow requirements
Perform industry and company research and correlate due diligence findings with client valuations
Manage expectations of service and review the work of senior staff
Conduct timely performance reviews for Senior staff and help to develop and guide Senior staff
Generate new business opportunities and identify business development opportunities
Requirements
5+ years of external audit experience
5+ years of transaction advisory services experience
Public accounting background required
Audit experience within manufacturing, distribution, and consumer products
Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory valuation
Able to establish and maintain client relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
CPA required
Skilled in Axcess, BNA Tax, CCH, Engagement, and ProSystems
