Job Title: Phlebotomist - Prescott PSC
We are seeking a skilled phlebotomist to join our team at the Prescott Patient Service Center. In this role, you will be required to draw patients' blood and perform specimen processing within a clinic setting. You will be responsible for collecting and receiving biological specimens, entering data into our computer system, preparing samples for testing, and ensuring the proper distribution of specimens to the analytical area. Additionally, you will perform specified analytical testing and adhere to the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.
Draw patients' blood and perform specimen processing.
Accurately enter specimen information into the computer system.
Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the appropriate analytical area.
Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
1 or more years of prior phlebotomy experience required
~ Proficiency in blood draw, specimen collection, laboratory procedures, and phlebotomy.
~ Experience with specimen processing and patient care.
~ GED or high school diploma required.
Experience in a clinic setting is preferred.
Opportunities for career advancement available after 6 months, including eligibility for a 4% pay increase and promotion to Phlebotomy Technician 2.
You will work as part of a team of phlebotomists from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. The work setting is collaborative, offering growth opportunities and a supportive career ladder for advancement.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Prescott, Arizona.
