Senior Network Engineer Job Description Prism is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in installing, configuring, and maintaining scalable network devices, including Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing secure network access solutions and managing security policies using Cisco ISE to meet our organization's critical requirements. You will continuously monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure system availability and reliability across our enterprise. This position requires close collaboration and partnership with other IT platform teams to support and optimize overall network operations and engineering initiatives. A key aspect of the role involves implementing and managing our network security architecture, including essential network security patching and upgrades, establishing security baselines, ensuring compliance, and overseeing hardware and software maintenance. You will also provide crucial Level 2/3 escalation support and troubleshooting to resolve incidents and tasks efficiently. Qualifications Skills Required: * Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, networking administration, information technology, or a similar field with 9+ years of experience; Enterprise Networking: 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking. * Cloud Networking: 2+ years of experience with Cloud PaaS and/or IaaS (Azure). * Networking Protocols: Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN. * Certifications: CCNA / CCNP / CCIE certification preferred. * Routing Platforms: Switching Platforms: Network Security: In-depth knowledge of Network Security, VPN, ACL, DMVPN, IPSEC, NAC, MAB, DOT1X, and Encryption Standards. * Security Platforms: Azure Cloud Networking: Knowledge of Azure Cloud Networking Fundamentals and Security best practices, including Public (Azure) and Private (Kubernetes) Cloud Technologies. * Azure Networking Services: Knowledge of Azure architectural principles and key networking services such as MS Azure VNET, VNET-Peering, Private Link, vWAN, Express Route, Firewall, Load Balancer. * Knowledge of F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM). * System Management: Ability to identify, deploy, and manage complex networking systems. *
