Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), and BLS certification for overnight shifts. Responsibilities Work in a teaching hospital with Magnet status and Level 1 Trauma designation Position is in the X-Ray Tech unit Shift schedule is Friday to Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with possible holidays required First week may require day shift for orientation before transitioning to night schedule On-call rotation is 3-4 days per month Floating to other buildings on the same campus may be required but not to sister facilities Caseload per technologist varies Procedures may require O/C-Arm experience Epic is used for charting; prior experience is preferred Radiation badge must be provided by the agency Responsibilities include performing diagnostic X-ray exams and participating in call rotation Pre-employment online modules (approximately 4 hours) must be completed prior to start Return employees must have at least a 1-year separation from any previous positions within the system Teal tops and black bottoms are required for scrubs Night and weekend parking available with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams All requested time off must be declared with application; approval is based on facility need Locals within 60 miles accepted at adjusted rates Requirements Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Tech experience BLS certification required (AHA only) Current ARRT (R) and SCRQSA (R) required Proficiency in O/C-Arm procedures required Ability to provide own radiation badge SSN and driver's license required for consideration Acceptance of first-time travelers; travel experience preferred Must comply with a 60-mile radius rule for eligibility License required if applicable Benefits ~ High Pay and Bonuses ~ Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options ~401(k) Plan ~ Weekly Payroll Deposit ~ Free Online CEUs ~ Generous Housing Allowance ~ Travel and Licensure Reimbursements ~ Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy ~ Traveler Rewards and Discounts
