Position Summary St. Johns River State College is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support the College's enrollment goals by coordinating student recruitment activities across the College's service district. The Recruitment Coordinator will develop and implement annual recruitment plans, coordinate outreach events, maintain relationships with schools and community partners, and support prospective students through the admissions process. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and public speaking skills, as well as the ability to travel within the College's service area.

Duties and Responsibilities

RECRUITMENT & OUTREACH

Develop and maintain an annual recruitment plan/calendar in collaboration with Strategic Communications, Workforce Recruiters, and Florida School of the Arts. Lead and coordinate College-wide recruitment events such as open houses, Enrollment Days, high school visits, Counselor Breakfasts, and community outreach activities. Travel within Clay, Putnam, and St. Johns counties to conduct classroom visits, attend career fairs, and represent SJR State at local events. Establish and maintain relationships with high school counselors, teachers, and administrators. Make group presentations to prospective students and community partners. DATA MANAGEMENT & REPORTING

Track and report recruitment activity data using CRM and Excel tools. Collaborate with the CRM Manager to update and maintain information related to prospective students. Provide accurate and timely reporting on recruitment metrics and the prospective student pipeline. Facilitate prospective student admission by managing assigned prospects in the CRM system. STUDENT & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Provide excellent customer service to prospective students, parents, and school personnel. Advise prospective students and families on admission requirements, transfer guidelines, scholarships, and academic programs. Collaborate with Strategic Communications to develop recruitment materials and marketing initiatives. Support College participation in FAFSA events, scholarship presentations, and career fairs. Perform other duties as assigned by the AVP of Institutional Advancement.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: • Associate degree required. • Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or related field preferred. • Knowledge of academic policies, curriculum, statewide articulation, and admission requirements within the State University System preferred. • Applicant must pass verification of employment/reference screening and a background check.
