Seeking a dedicated and experienced
Employee Benefits Account Manager
to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing mid-market accounts, ranging from 20 to 200 lives, with a strong focus on self-funded accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in employee benefits management, excellent communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach to client service. Compensation Package
Salary Range:
$70,000 - $95,000 (based on experience) Benefits: 100% coverage for health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match
Responsibilities
Manage a book of business, including health, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits accounts. Handle renewals, presentations, open enrollment, and benefit design. Provide exceptional service to clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. Work on self-funded accounts with some fully insured accounts as needed. Collaborate with the Employee Benefits Department Manager and team to divide accounts based on experience. Utilize software tools, such as Epic, to manage accounts effectively. Assist with quoting new and renewal business, with a primary focus on renewals. Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Account Manager or Customer Service Representative in the employee benefits field. Proven experience managing self-funded accounts is required. Life and Health License is required. Proficiency in using Epic software is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work full-time in-office, with the possibility of one remote workday per week.
