Industry Accounting Type Privately Held About the Role We are seeking a talented and experienced Director of Transaction Advisory Services to lead our due diligence and transaction support engagements for both buy-side and sell-side deals. In this key role, you will guide teams through essential financial analyses, quality of earnings reviews, working capital assessments, and operating-model validations. You will build and nurture strong relationships with private equity firms, strategic acquirers, and corporate boards, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the entire transaction lifecycle. Your collaboration with deal teams, legal and tax advisors, and other stakeholders will enable you to deliver comprehensive solutions that facilitate informed decision-making. In addition to overseeing engagements, you will play a critical role in business development by originating opportunities, preparing compelling pitch materials, closing new clients, and mentoring junior and mid-level professionals. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in transaction advisory services or financial due diligence, with a proven ability to lead complex engagements and generate substantial revenue (e.g., $3M+ annually) from both new and existing client relationships. Familiarity with middle-market dynamics and deal structures, along with excellent analytical, communication, and mentoring skills, is required. Strong business-development instincts are crucial, and a CPA, CFA, or MBA is preferred.
