$80,000 - $100,000 USD

With a multidisciplinary team and a holistic approach, they partner with clients across industries to streamline complex processes, support growth strategies, and deliver enhanced value.
Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their assurance team. In this role you will lead audit engagements, specifically focused on employee benefit plans and health benefit packages, and ensure compliance with applicable auditing standards. You'll work closely with clients to deliver high quality services while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the firms growth.
Lead the planning, execution and delivery of audit engagements, including retirement plans, health benefit plans, and other employee benefit arrangements
Manage and supervise audit teams, providing coaching, review and oversight to associates and seniors
Ensure audit programs meet U.S. auditing standards (PCAOB, GAAS), GAAP, COSO frameworks, and specific plan requirements under ERISA
Review financial statements, disclosures and audit findings, and communicate results and recommendations to clients and senior leadership
Utilize and oversee audit tools and systems including UltraTax, Creative Solutions, QuickBooks Online, and related audit software
Liaise with clients on audit matters, deliver findings, facilitate board/stakeholder communication, and maintain strong client relationships
Contribute to business development, proposal writing, and thought leadership in the retirement and employee benefits audit space
Qualifications:
CPA required; MBA
Minimum of 4 years of relevant audit experience, with at least 3 years at the manager level
Demonstrated experience working with ERISA governed retirement plans and health benefit packages
Deep familiarity with U.S. auditing standards (PCAOB/GAAS) and GAAP, as well as COSO internal control frameworks
Experience working with audit tools and systems such as UltraTax, Creative Solutions, QuickBooks Online
U.S. citizenship or permanent status required
Strong communication, leadership, client service, and relationship building skills
