Direct-hire
role supporting a high-uptime manufacturing facility.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM Compensation:
$25.00 – $35.00 per hour
A day in the life
You clock in at 2:00 PM and jump into your route: checking preventive maintenance tasks designed to keep critical equipment running. A line goes down—using meters and test equipment, you isolate the fault, interpret the schematics, and collaborate with supervisors and engineering to get production back on track. In between, you log repairs, perform inspections, weld and fabricate minor components, and review manuals and blueprints to prepare for tomorrow’s PMs. Before 11:00 PM, you’ve reduced downtime, extended asset life, and left the area safer than you found it.
What you’ll handle
Install, repair, adjust, and maintain mechanical systems and plant equipment.
Execute preventive maintenance to cut downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Inspect, dismantle, clean, and reassemble machinery and facility structures.
Diagnose issues with meters and testing devices; resolve root causes.
Read and apply blueprints, technical diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Troubleshoot problems and communicate clearly with supervisors and engineering.
Perform welding and light fabrication as needed.
Maintain accurate repair, inspection, and PM records.
Conduct routine facility walkthroughs to spot issues before failures occur.
What you bring
At least
2 years of verifiable mechanical experience
in a manufacturing setting.
Certificate of completion from
Class “B” and “C” TPC training modules .
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency with hand/power tools, diagnostic instruments, and test equipment.
Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
Welding and basic fabrication experience .
Strong troubleshooting mindset and problem-solving ability.
Team-first attitude and clear, effective communication.
