Our client is a rapidly growing manufacturer of functional foods and supplements with a new opportunity for a hands-on
Plant Controller/Director of Finance r to join their team at their state-of-the-art facility near Las Vegas, Nevada. You will oversee all financial functions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, cost controls, and the overall financial health of the company. With a focus on developing financial strategies that align with our business goals, you'll lead budgeting, forecasting, ERP system management, and data-driven decision-making. Relevant Bachelor's degree; MBA or CPA preferred. 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, 5+ years in a Director or Controller or equivalent position. Strong ERP/technology expertise. Compensation/Benefits:

Develop and implement financial strategies. Oversee financial planning and analysis, ensuring precise budgeting, forecasting, and variance assessments. Create and enforce financial strategies, policies, and procedures. Manage ERP systems to ensure the accuracy of financial data, covering everything from the general ledger to inventory and cost accounting. Enhance cost controls, operational efficiency, and inventory management practices. Produce timely financial reports, KPI analyses, and actionable insights for Directors across various departments. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team to promote high performance and professional development. Provide financial leadership and guidance to the executive team and various departments. Oversee all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Develop and maintain financial and management reports. Establish and maintain cost accounting systems and methodologies for accurate product costing and inventory valuation. Supervise inventory management, including control, forecasting, and reconciliation processes. Ensure the accuracy of all transactions related to the general ledger, job costing, inventory, receivables, payables, and financial reports. Review cost variances and work collaboratively to identify root causes for proactive improvements. Competencies Needed for Success:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a Director or Controller position. CPG background required, nutraceuticals preferred. Strong expertise in ERP systems, cost accounting, variance analysis, inventory management, and data analytics. Proven history of financial leadership and strategic thinking.
