Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role is perfect for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team with various accounting tasks. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Reconcile bank statements and company accounts. Enter and verify financial data in accounting software. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and payments. Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for financial documents. Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing or payment discrepancies. Assist with audits, budget preparation, and financial analysis as needed. Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and document management. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role preferred. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Working Conditions: Office environment (remote or hybrid options may apply). Standard working hours, with occasional overtime during reporting periods. Required Work Hours:

Pay - $28-$31/hr Additional Details:

Max Pay is $31. Min Pay is $28.
