Job Title: Bookkeeper
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process. Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner. Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and other reports as needed. Assist with budgeting and forecasting. Maintain and organize financial records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Collaborate with accountants and auditors for end-of-year reporting and tax preparation. Qualifications:
Proven bookkeeping experience. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage). High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred). Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with payroll systems. Ability to handle confidential information. Strong communication skills.
