Travel MRI Tech - $2,830 per week in Peoria, IL

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: MRI Technologist Specialty: Magnetic Resonance Imaging Duration: 20 Weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active IL license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated Certifications: BLS, RTR (MR) Must-Have: - Knowledge of operating GE MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T) - MRI safety guidelines - Ability to start IVs - Familiarity with standard acquisition sequences for MRI scanning - Experience with EMR and PACS systems Description: The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI scans on outpatients, in-patients, and emergency department patients. The technologist will operate GE MRI scanners and ensure adherence to MRI safety guidelines. Starting IVs is required for this position, along with utilizing standard acquisition sequences for MRI scanning. The technologist will work with an MRI Tech assistant during shifts. A weekend commitment of one weekend a month is expected. Holiday work may be required as needed. Scrubs must be standard solid colors and all tattoos must be covered. Department-specific orientation will take place based on familiarity with the scanner type. Candidates must understand that a drug screening for all panels is mandatory.
