Travel MRI Tech - $2,488 per week in Peoria, IL

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: MRI Technologist Specialty: Magnetic Resonance Imaging Duration: 20 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: Active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated Certifications: BLS, RTR, and other specialty certification requirements Must-Have: Knowledge of operating GE MRI scanners 1.5T and 3T. MRI safety guidelines, starting IVs, and standard acquisition sequences for MRI scanning. Description: The MRI Technologist performs MRI procedures. This includes both outpatients and inpatients. They will be responsible for ensuring the safety of patients during MRI scans. Additionally, they will start IVs as needed. Familiarity with EMR and PACS systems is necessary. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative environment with a tech assistant. They will be required to work 1 weekend a month and may have holiday requirements. Standard solid colored scrubs are to be worn. Tattoos must be covered during shifts. Department specific orientation will depend on familiarity with the scanner type.
