A Day in the Life of a MRI Technologist:
Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures as prescribed by a physician Instruct patients on proper physiological requirements for the procedure Prepare patients for exams, administer contrast, and assist at the end of procedures Maintain clean, safe, orderly work area and observe OSHA and HIPAA requirements Recognize reactions to contrast media and intervene when necessary Here is what you will need:
Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of a training program in imaging technology Registered in MR within one year of employment Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation within 90 days of employment Valid state radiology registration as required by state law Additional Information:
