Procurement Operations Lead / Procurement Optimization Manager

The procurement role will be the leader responsible for the design, implementation, and overseeing of the organization's procurement framework. This role will establish best-in-class sourcing processes, build and lead a procurement team, and drive cost optimization while ensuring compliance, governance, and supplier value creation.
Supporting all our procurement initiatives and needs across 6 countries, he/she will scale and optimize our procurement function.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a long-term procurement strategy aligned with organizational goals. Including optimization and standardization of procurement processes and workflows across the organization. Lead sourcing initiatives across categories (goods, services, vendors, technology, etc.). Establish a supplier management framework, including vendor selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring. Strengthening vendor management practices, including performance tracking, risk management, and compliance. Partner with business leaders to understand procurement needs and deliver cost-effective, value-added solutions. Drive cost savings, efficiency, and risk mitigation through strategic supplier negotiations. Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team. Implement tools, systems, and metrics to monitor procurement performance. Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and internal requirements by verifying that suppliers meet quality standards, adhere to ethical and sustainable practices. Support the annual organizational budgets. Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field (master's preferred). 8+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role. Proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing procurement processes/frameworks. Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management expertise. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and build strong cross-functional relationships. Experience with procurement technology/tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, SAP) a plus.
