Position Overview: BioPharma Territory Sales Manager
In this role, you will be responsible for selling Getinge's pharmaceutical equipment and service contracts by partnering with sales specialists to devise strategic approaches for engaging priority accounts and identifying new opportunities. Your expertise in our services, products, and marketing techniques will help drive profit margins and expand market share.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve or surpass sales objectives for all product categories while managing expenses effectively.
Collaborate closely with sales specialists and service teams to develop comprehensive strategies for optimal account engagement and product bundling opportunities.
Create and monitor account plans, providing timely updates and reports as needed.
Prepare and submit territory forecasts and detailed customer visit plans, maintaining an organized Outlook calendar.
Utilize customer relationship management tools efficiently to streamline processes.
Work alongside Customer Support, Service, and project management teams to ensure superior product performance and customer satisfaction.
Maintain professional relationships with customers while responding promptly to inquiries.
Enhance your knowledge and skills through participation in company training programs and industry trade shows.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or a combination of education and experience.
At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, preferably selling capital equipment to end users, with experience in a prescriptive sales methodology considered an asset.
Required Skills and Attributes:
Demonstrated experience in complex sales; familiarity with Getinge's Life Science equipment is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Willingness to travel to customer sites (2-3 days per week) and possess a valid driver's license.
Compensation:
Total Compensation = $209,553, which includes a base salary of $95,000 and an estimated target incentive of $114,553 based on performance. (Compensation may change based on territory adjustments.)
