The
Mitigation Lead
will play a key hands-on role managing and performing property damage mitigation projects. This position is ideal for someone who can lead by example-motivating a crew while actively participating in field work. You'll oversee mitigation operations, ensure quality standards are met, and provide direct customer communication during restoration projects. Responsibilities Lead and work alongside mitigation crews on water, fire, storm, and mold restoration jobs. Perform hands-on tasks including controlled demolition, debris removal, drying, and cleanup. Operate restoration equipment such as dehumidifiers, air movers, and HEPA filtration systems. Supervise project timelines, crew scheduling, and job documentation. Communicate with property owners, insurance representatives, and team members throughout each project. Uphold safety standards and ensure all work meets company and IICRC quality expectations. Support training and development for crew members to enhance technical skills and performance. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience in property damage restoration, construction, or a related field. Proven leadership experience managing field crews or projects. Water mitigation experience required; IICRC WRT or ASD certification preferred. Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Physically able to lift 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in demanding environments (PPE provided). Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience.
